Go Kayak Now! in partnership with Lee’s Adventure Sports in Kalamazoo Michigan will be offering ACA sea kayaking courses in Kalamazoo and South West Michigan. Our course calendar for the remainder of 2010 will consist of outdoor strokes clinics.
What:Kayaking Lessons, Strokes, Directional Control, and Rescues
Where:DNR Boat Launch Long Lake, Portage Michigan
When:Beginning April 18th 2009 and will continue into August of 2010 every other Sunday from 1-3 pm. (a few breaks will be alloted through the summer for Symposiums.)
Cost:Lessons are $15.00. There is a limit for instructor to student ratio so please e-mail me when considering a kayaking lesson.
Equipment:Bring your own, free! Kayak rentals from Lee’s $10.00. Call ahead again so that I can arrange the proper boat PFD and paddle fit.
Please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather. Wetsuit, drysuit, paddle jacket, warm neoprene footwear, warm hat, pogies or gloves, spare change of clothes, warm drink.
