Great shot of Lake Michigan in the storm. The sky had been overcast for most of the morning while I was surfing, and then suddenly the whole sky cleared and went blue. The water is churning up the channel of the black river here. The pier wall is about 4-5 feet above the water. So when the water comes up and over the wall it is from a wave of over 5 feet. I got very wet and cold walking out to the end of the pier even in a wetsuit.
